Community Recreation

The Goderich-Huron YMCA operates and manages community recreation including Memorial Arena and auditorium, Sifto Arena, Agricultural Park and GDCI baseball diamonds, and Rotary Soccer Fields.  Memorial arena auditorium is a multipurpose space with capacity for 344 people and is permitted to be licensed for alcohol functions.  A copy of the alcohol policy is available for interested renters.  Memorial arena has ice available for rental from October to March and arena floor space for special events available for rental from April – September.

Agricultural Park hosts a soccer field and two baseball diamonds with lighting and bleacher seating.  An additional baseball diamond is available at GDCI, and additional soccer field and rugby field at Rotary Field adjacent to the Maitland Recreation Centre.
