YMCA offers support to displaced workers
Goderich, Ontario – The sudden closing of the Bluewater Youth Centre is a significant economic loss to the Goderich-Huron community and the YMCA is here to help.
During times like this, it is important to remember that, as a charitable organization, the YMCA strives to serve all segments of the Goderich-Huron community, including those with limited financial means. YMCA financial assistance ensures youth, families, and individuals who cannot afford the full cost of a YMCA membership, programs and services are able to participate, regardless of their financial situation.
If current financial circumstances are limiting anyone’s ability to participate, financial assistance may be provided. Residents are encouraged to contact Membership Services at 519-524-2125 for more information. All inquiries will be held in strict confidence.
If Goderich-Huron residents wish to donate to support their local community, donations can be made to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign at www.strongkids.ca or contact YMCA Membership Services.
