Huron YMCA Celebration of Youth

At the YMCA, we believe the youth of today are the key to a more caring and prosperous future tomorrow. By investing in our youth, they will become future leaders in our community contributing to a caring and civil society.

If you are a youth between the ages of 17 and 24 who has made a difference in your community, we want to hear from you. The YMCA Celebration of Youth Program rewards students who demonstrate sensitivity to others, talent, innovation, academic responsibility, development of personal talents, and give back to their community in practical ways.  Helping students as they strive toward a better, healthier future is the goal of the YMCA's Celebration of Youth Program.

The YMCA and its sponsors are extremely proud of the opportunity to recognize these unique individuals in our community. Each award recipient and his/her family are invited to the Awards Program, at which the winners’ successes are celebrated. At that time, each of the winners will be presented with a $1,000 Award.
