Fellowship of Distinction - Call for Nominees - Do you know an outstanding YMCA leader?
The Fellowship of Distinction is the highest award that the association can bestow on an individual. It recognizes outstanding service and leadership of volunteers and staff to their YMCA and communities at the local, national and/or International level. From builders, to instructors to exemplary staff and volunteer leadership the Fellows of Distinction left their indelible imprint on the organization and contributed to making the association one of the community’s leading institutions. The election is open to all staff, volunteers and members who have made an outstanding contribution as a leader, builder, or instructor.
Nominations will be reviewed by the YMCA Fellowship of Distinction Committee in February 2013. Selected recipients will be contacted by February 20, 2013. The YMCA Fellowship of Distinction investiture will take place March 22, 2013 in Sarnia, Ontario.
The fellows will receive a framed certificate, an engraved memento of the occasion, and lapel pin especially designed for the fellowship. There will be a permanent display in the Jerry McCaw Family Centre YMCA in Sarnia.
