2027 Camp Programs Registration  

  • Registration for returning CQE families opens November 18th, 2026 at 10:00am EST.
  • New camper registration opens on November 24th, 2026 at 10:00am EST.
  • Leadership Program Applications open between October 30th and November 6th , 2026.
  • Registration for Family Camp, Adult Programs, and Alumni Programs will open on November 26th , 2026 at 10:00am EST.

Registration for all CQE programs must be completed online through our camp registration portal.

Please note that all Leadership Program Applications will open between October 30th and November 6th, 2026. This is not first come first serve, all submissions made by November 6th will enter a lottery. For more information, please see Leadership Programs under Summer Camp.

About YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth 

Located on the rocky shores of Beausoleil Island in Georgian Bay Islands National Park, YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth (CQE) has been a leader in providing high‑quality, overnight camp experiences for youth since 1953.

Beausoleil Island—known as Bimadinaagogi by the Anishinaabeg—is a place rich in stories, traditions, and history. For thousands of years, it has been a gathering place and is deeply connected to Anishinaabeg culture and ways of life. We are grateful to operate on this land and strive to honour its significance through our values‑based, community‑centred approach to camp.

At CQE, campers are encouraged to challenge themselves, explore nature, and build friendships that last a lifetime. Through a wide range of activities and shared experiences in an outdoor community, campers develop confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.

Central to everything we do are the YMCA’s five core values: Respect, Responsibility, Caring, Honesty, and Inclusiveness. These values guide how we live, learn, and grow together at camp—helping every camper discover their potential and create memories they carry long after summer ends. 

Is My Child Ready for CQE Overnight Camp?

Each summer, Camp CQE welcomes more than 1,000 kids and teens aged 6-16 to its sun-kissed shores on the glistening Georgian Bay. We’re located about four hours (drive) from London, ON, and two hours from Toronto. We’ve been around since 1953, and we love to see returning and new CQE community members every year! CQE is a summer camp that values honesty, caring, respect, responsibility and inclusiveness. And our engaging outdoor programs aim to illuminate these qualities in every camper.

We know that CQE is a second home for our families who return year after year. Past campers will tell you they have made lifelong friends and overcome many challenges at CQE. We love being the place that provides a high-quality camping experience and the skills, opportunities and support needed to ignite each camper’s full potential.

Financial Assistance

If you are applying for financial assistance, or you would like to use an extended payment plan, you will also be able to register through the online registration portal.  You will be required to pay the deposit but nothing else at the time of registration.  Financial assistance applications are available on the online registration portal.

YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth is committed to providing camp experiences for all youth, regardless of economic circumstances. CQE is able to provide financial assistance to families who are unable, but not unwilling, to pay the full camp fee. If you are unable to apply online you can request an assistance form here.
