Once a CQE camper, always a CQE camper! Whether it's been 5 or 50 years since you last came to CQE, it will always be your home away from home.
It is with a very heavy heart that we are announcing we must cancel YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth traditional summer camp programs for 2021. Click here for the full announcement.
Join our CQE Alumni community by filling out our CQE Alumni Contact Form. By signing up, it will ensure that you will receive updates from the camp team, including our Alumni newsletter, The Offshore Echo, and information about events happening at camp.

Unable to offer our traditional camper programs for the second year in a row due to COVID-19, CQE needs you more than ever! Without traditional program revenue for two summers in a row, we are depending on the support of our community to help keep camp safe and strong this year and beyond.
As alumni, you know that CQE is beautiful because of its remote and wild location - being surrounded by nature is what makes it one of our favourite places! However, being located on an island presents costly operational challenges, even when there are no campers on our shores. As a charity, the Y depends on revenue from program registrations to support the cost of running an island-based overnight camp in Georgian Bay. Help us strengthen and sustain CQE today:
- STRENGTHEN CQE: help us with critical capital needs, ranging from roof replacements to equipment repairs.
- SUSTAIN CQE: help cover the unavoidable costs of keeping camp in working order this Summer, including basic hydro and electricity when there are no campers on our shores and maintaining systems that keep our camp safe.
Camp plays a big part in building healthy communities and providing camping experiences for youth. Your donation will directly support the camp you know and love, allowing us to be ready for our campers when we are safely able to reopen our site in 2022.
