Financial Assistance at the YMCA
Help provide access to Y programs and services for people who are experiencing financial barriers. With your support, a local child in need could enjoy the fun, friendship and adventure of a week of YMCA Summer Day Camp; a family that’s new to Canada could engage in healthy activity at the Y and connect to their new community; or a low-income senior could exercise safely and make new friends as a member of their local branch.
YMCA Programs and Services: The Y is a place for everyone, and a community hub for people of all backgrounds, beliefs and abilities. This includes families who are new to Canada, and youth who (at the Y) can build the skills they need to succeed. With your support, we’ll tackle projects that fill a gap or enhance well-being for people of all ages – whether it’s a much-needed repair at a local YMCA branch, expanded Swim-Able offerings for children with disabilities, or a sport/leadership program for teens.
YMCA Overnight Camp
At Camp Queen Elizabeth and Camp Henry, children and youth enjoy the natural world, grow in independence, and make lifelong friends. With your support, we’ll ensure that the camp you love continues to offer magical experiences through things like replacing aging equipment (like kayaks and sailboats), making cabin repairs, and providing financial assistance so young people in need can experience the fun and adventure of overnight camp.

An Important Message to Our Donors
We use a company called Zeffy to process our donations. They do not charge transaction fees, so your entire donation goes directly to the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario. The platform does give you the option to add a tip to help Zeffy keep running its services; however, if you don’t want to add one, in the confirmation message just choose “Other” (in the drop-down menu) and then enter $0. The Y will still get your full donation. Thank you!
