Teen Camp Programs
At the Y, we believe in empowering young people to lead, grow, and make a difference. Whether you're looking to build confidence, develop leadership skills, or dive into the world of lifesaving, our teen programs offer exciting opportunities for personal growth and hands-on learning.
From our Senior Leaders Program, where teens refine their leadership skills and earn volunteer hours, to our Junior Lifeguard Camp, an action-packed introduction to lifesaving and aquatic sports, every experience is designed to inspire and challenge. Rooted in our values of inclusiveness, honesty, responsibility, respect, and caring, YMCA programs provide a supportive space for teens to thrive.

YMCA leadership programs are founded on our long-standing commitment to youth development, community engagement, and personal growth. With deep roots in our local communities and the foundation of inclusivity, healthy living, and social responsibility, the goal of YMCA leadership development is to guide and inspire young people, fostering a safe and supportive environment for leadership growth.
Senior Leaders participants will also earn volunteer hours based on the experiential nature of the program.
In Leadership Camp, campers will complete Emergency First Aid Certification and the Babysitting Certification, giving them practical knowledge and credentials they can use for future volunteer or employment opportunities.
By the end of the week, campers will have strengthened their communication, teamwork, and decision‑making skills—leaving them empowered, responsible, and ready to take on new challenges.
