As you may have heard; the London-Middlesex region has now entered the ‘Red Level of the Provincial Covid-19 Response Framework’. We would like to reinforce that we take all health and safety precautions seriously and are prepared to continue to serve you with the utmost level of safety.
For the safety of all members additional practices have now been put into place, effective December 14, 2020:
- To ensure capacities are maintained within all areas of the Y, and in accordance with Ontario’s Red Level of the COVID-19 Response Framework, you will now need to pre-register before you arrive to use the fitness floor/workout (as before with group fitness classes or lane swims for example). Members will have the opportunity to pre-register through our online registration system. If you have not used this system before, you can find step-by-step instructions here. Please note that capacities vary per location and can be found online when booking or by calling a membership services rep at your branch.
- Registration for fitness floor bookings will be available to view at 7 am and to book from 10 am every Saturday, for the following week, starting tomorrow (Saturday, December 12). Lane swims and group fitness bookings will continue as present. *Please only book one time slot a day to ensure equal opportunities for all members.
- Masks are now mandatory at all times in YMCA buildings (including while exercising).
- We are asking that all members not visit branches outside of their colour zone, as outlined in Ontario's COVID-19 Response Framework.
