YMCA of Southwestern Ontario receives Jumpstart Sport Relief Funding.
Jumpstart has been a longstanding partner of the YMCA, helping us to ensure every child and youth has access to sport and recreation programs, regardless of their ability to pay. With the closure of recreation programs due to COVID-19, Jumpstart quickly shifted funding to essential support for charities to ensure they will be here for kids to enjoy in the future.
Thanks to Jumpstart, our Y was one of 688 recreation organizations across Canada to receive support at each of our health and fitness branches, in every community we serve! This funding will help us to continue to provide access to sport and play for Canadian kids and respond to the changing needs of our community during the pandemic.
