Establishing the highest possible standards.
It's been too long since we last saw you. We've heard from many members and participants who are missing their daily routine and YMCA friends and connections. We miss it and all of you too!
Even though things have changed, the Y continues to serve our local communities in many ways, such as providing essential care packages to neighbours in need, offering free virtual wellness programs to people at home, and providing remote services to newcomers to Canada. Health & Fitness
Our Health & Fitness facilities are temporarily closed.
As of January 5, 2022, in accordance with provincial regulations, all facilities will be closed until at least January 26, 2022. Membership fees will be put on hold and we are extending virtual programming through Y@HOME+ to all our members on hold.
At all Y camps, we remain committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all our campers, their families, and our staff team. We are pleased that we are able to return to camp in 2021 and continue to work with provincial and local health authorities to ensure the safest possible camp experience for your campers.
Child Care & School Age Programs
Our YMCA Children's Educational Services sites are currently open and operating with enhanced health and safety procedures. We continue to follow the public health and safety measures that have kept early years and child care programs open and safe to ensure your children can learn with their friends. You can find our full Children's Educational Services COVID-19 Policy here.
Newcomer & Community Services
Newcomer and Community Services continue to provide client-direct supports through virtual and social media platforms. Read about our vaccination requirements for YMCA patrons and clients here.
Specific for our newcomer clients and language learners, we’ve created Facebook pages to keep you connected with our staff and to continue to support your settlement and learning goals.
