What is the Language Skills Program?
The Language Skills Program is an English as a second language program for adult newcomers who are permanent residents and convention refugees (Canadian citizens are not eligible). LSP teaches listening, speaking, reading, and writing based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks. The Program is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
- Classes are free.
- Limited space in the Care for Newcomer Children (CNC) program is available to eligible participants for their children aged 3 months to 6 years during day-time and evening courses.
- Limited free bus pass available to qualified students.

ESL teaches listening, speaking, reading, and writing based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks. This Program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Children, Communities and Social Services.

ESL (English as a Second Language) with Computers
ESL (English as a Second Language) with Computers is program for adult immigrants who are permanent residents, refugee claimants, naturalized Canadian citizens or work permit holders. Learners will improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks while also learning basic digital literacy skills such as how to use the Internet, email, social media platforms and Microsoft office suite. Bus tickets are available to eligible participants. This Program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Children, Communities and Social Services.

English as a Second Language for Agricultural Workers
Migrant workers, permanent residents and refugee claimants will learn the English skills and vocabulary needed for living in Canada and communicating in the agricultural workplace based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks. This Program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Children, Communities and Social Services.
